GeneralSummary….
The General Manager works with Managers andSupervisors to implement monitor and enhance all aspects of support to includeoperational performance, safety, security, productivity, cost control, customerservice, and continuous improvement. TheGeneral Manager is the primary point of contact between the customer and theCompany. He/she has managementauthority, responsibility, and oversight of all contractual tasks. Responsibleto identify, review and then follow internal policy to make contract revisions. This position requires the exercise ofindependent judgment, decision-making, and discretion.

Manages at least 2 full time exempt directreports. Management responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to hiring, coaching, skills development,recognition and rewards, staff productivity and performance management toinclude disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
Strong understanding and ability to navigatehealthcare regulatory requirements and compliance specifically related to DEAand FDA regulations.
Support and foster QMS for next level auditimprovement and success.
Have the ability to become the designatedrepresentative for the facility and achieve all certifications as required.
Knowledge of achieving ISO certifications andensuring the team is committed to the environment and maintaining thecertification.
Preparing, maintaining andcommunicating all operational goals and company Standard Operations Procedures.
On-going management of facilityfiscal performance (Profit and Loss), yearly budget preparation.
Monitoring space utilization/layoutand maximizing usage/making recommendations.
Managing, coaching, mentoring,developing staff to achieve prescribed objectives.
Overseeing the recruitment and newhire process and ensuring/reinforcing the Company culture is being fostered inthe facility.
Monitoring and ensuringdepartmental/facility performance metrics are met in a timely and costeffective manner.
Ensuring the accurate and timelypreparation of all necessary reports and records regarding facility operations.
Developing, implementing anddirecting; equipment preventative maintenance programs, safety programs, andfacility building/grounds maintenance programs.
Responsible to identify, review andthen follow internal policy to make contract revisions.
Monitoring facility purchasingprocess to include: auditing, guideline compliance, and approval; creatingprograms to maximize cost saving for the Company and customers.
Ability to collaborate and partnerwith the Legal / Regulatory department.
Qualification:

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, IndustrialEngineering, or other related operations discipline is strongly preferred. Alternatively,military rank at E-8-9/ or O3-O5.
A minimum of eight (8) years of provenmanagement experience, preferably in a large, high volume logistics environmentresponsible for WMS, QDM, LMS, P&L and talent management of managers.
A minimum of 3 years of full-timemanagerial/supervisory-level employment in position(s) related to thedistribution or dispensing of prescription drugs or devices* with a pharmacy,wholesaler, distributor, manufacturer or 3PL provider.
Contract packaging, and/or manufacturing experience, understanding of 3PL operations and 3rd party logistics.
Must be involved in the daily operations of thefacility and be familiar with inventory controls/pertinent FDA regulations.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations andrequirements, preferred.
Background in utilizing Lean to improve productivityand efficiencies.
Ability to interact effectively at multiplelevels, in support of our customer relationships.
Demonstrated self-confidence, particularly withclient relationships; strong relationship building skills.
Excellent communication and presentationskills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questionsfrom groups of managers, clients, teammates, customers, and the general public.
A proven track record of mentoring anddevelopment of direct reports and subordinates.
