The primarily responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager are to oversee all shipping and receiving operations on 24*7 basis, including managing warehouse personnel, comparing shipment contents with manifests, and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of shipping and receiving management experienceProficiency in Excel or Google SheetsPrevious experience in a supervisory capacityExperience in manufacturing processesBilingual in English and Spanish preferredForklift License preferredAbility to stand for long periods of time and carry loads of 50+ lbs preferredKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsKnowledge with good manufacturing practicesExperience leading and following safety and security policies and proceduresPrior experience in shipping and receiving/dock operations Excellent verbal and written communication skillsSkill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detailStrong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplinesAbility to select, lead, coach, influence, motivate, develop, engage, and retain a team of employeesSelf-motivated with a result driven approach Ability to work flexible hours including weekends in support of plant operationsJob ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming shipments in an organized and efficient manner.Receive products and maintain accurate inventory utilizing a Warehouse Management System.Count and review shipments against receiving orders.Ensure supplies and receivables are put away in a timely manner.Create, modify, and implement safety and security protocols as needed for warehouse staff, including performing after-action reviews following any incidents.Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate relevant information to team members. Act as key interface between senior management and shipping team members.Train team members and ensure compliance with all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Safety and Security procedures.Cross train team members to ensure a flexible, motivated work force.Supervise shipping/receiving employees in the loading, unloading, and storage of products.Manage incoming trucks properly according to the daily shipping schedule.Conduct and document disciplinary actions where needed, to address attendance, performance, behavioral or other code of conduct violations.Responsible for ensuring the Plant is cleared of all product and packaging materials from the previous run. All materials are to be put away neatly in accordance with GMP’s.Participate and actively reinforce LEAN manufacturing concepts.Coordinate with incoming Supervisor at end of shift to ensure effective hand-off.Analyze work orders, invoices, and demand forecasts daily to estimate shipping, storage, and delivery requirements, and use this information to create employee schedules and resource allocation requests.Inspect physical condition of the warehouse, dock, vehicles, and equipment according to checkup schedules and initiate appropriate actions to remedy unsatisfactory findings.Manage overall package and product quality to ensure all standards and specifications are met.Maintain supplies needed for shipping and receiving operations.Monitor product and packaging yields and takes corrective action where needed, to minimize all waste.Always communicate effectively and especially at the end of the shift to ensure effective hand-offBenefitsHealth Care Plans (Medical, Dental & Vision)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)401(k)Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Training & Development
