Description We believe that our OmniSwitch networking portfolio is well positioned to support the federal government, civilian and defense departments, and we’re looking to recruit more believers in the federal integrator community to grow our sales faster. Alcatel Lucent Enterprise is looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for establishing and developing business through new clients in the Federal System Integrator (FSI) community. This strategic growth role will focus on positioning the AL-Enterprise ethernet networking portfolio (OmniSwitch) into major projects and programs within new Federal System Integrators relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join an entrepreneurial team tasked with growth through Major Integrators. The position is home based, but our offices in Calabasas and Chicago are available should you prefer to work from an office. Duties Recruit and sell to major federal integrators, to ensure that the ALE ethernet portfolio (OmniSwitch™) is their solution of choice in working with the federal government, civilian or defense. Create new routes to market, generate sales leads and follow-up with potential system integrators for our network solutions. Measurement of the role will be on sales of our solutions to large system integrators in the enterprise and government space in the USA. Travel in the USA up to 25% Qualifications 8 years experience in complex network solutions sales to Federal System integrators Technical capability to understand how solutions integrate and how to technically maneuver solutions through a Federal System Integrator’s processes to facilitate these solutions. Demonstrated success in working with or within Federal System Integrators in a sales or business development capacity Experience and credibility selling at the CxO level Existing relationships with Federal System Integrators and consulting companies, e.g. General Dynamics, Northrup Grumman, Lockheed Martin, SAIC, Leidos, CGI, CACI, Boeing and others Ability to manage a sales pipeline using SalesForce.com Ability to sell inside and outside the organization Must be a U.S Citizen
