Exstream Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Boca Raton, FL that is seeking an Exstream Consultant. This position is designated as essential to the operations of Boca Raton Computer Operations. Accordingly, as part of their regular duties, the Extream Consultant must be available at all times, at the discretion of management to perform their job functions, including, but not limited to the event of a potential hurricane or other emergency situation. Responsibilities:

• Develops, creates and implements, with the assistance of MIS personnel, projects as assigned using strong Exstream knowledge; Provide technical leadership during assigned development and maintenance efforts
• Consults with Lead Exstream Specialist for design, creation and implementation of Exstream processes
• Technically support project team during project life cycles
• Assist in the formulation of Systems objectives, User requirements, project plans, programming specifications and subsequent test plans
• Assist in the preparation of tasks, work assignments, with the inclusion of project milestones, and check points
• Review all work prior to submittal to Management and User
• Report to Supervisor on progress of projects
• Ensure that all work and documentation meet the standards of the department and the project
• Present project output to Management and Users for approval
• Recommend standards and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency of programming and systems development

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• College degree preferred
• 5-7 years of Exstream experience, including 1+ years of system administration knowledge of all aspects of the EXSTREAM software; Aspects include but are not limited to:CSV and Columnar data files, Init/Report files, Sectioned data and documents, complex tables, rules, PDF and Postscript print streams as well as PDF pass thru, TIF/JPEG import and Security
• Thorough knowledge of advanced Word and Excel processing
• Knowledge of bar-coding, Xerox printers and their PCL, DJDE, PDE and command languages preferred
• Experience with relational database and/or SQL
• Excellent communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and training
• OnDemand and SQL experience a plus
