Enterprise Data Warehouse, Supervisor

GEICO relies heavily on data to make business decisions and as an Enterprise Data Warehouse Supervisor with the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team, you are key player in making it possible. We’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic candidate with diverse skills to drive to completion our Cloud migration efforts and moving forward our Enterprise Data Platform initiative. This position truly requires a blend of strong people, project management, and technical skills. The ability to work collaboratively with both business and IT partners is essential. If your experience includes leading the development of large-scale data related projects in a technical supervisory capacity, we’d love to talk with you about how you might fit in our data organization. Required Qualifications – Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory position (i.e., goal setting, reporting, budgeting, performance evaluation, etc.) – A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, related field (Business, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent professional experience is required – Demonstrated team or project leadership – Relationship and partnership building – ETL, andor Data Architecture knowledge – Relational Database (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) understanding – Big Data Hadoop experience is a plus.
