Engineering – Project Supervisor

Basic Job Functions:

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Leading a proactive safety mindset focused on sustaining an injury-free work environment
• Developing a vision for the maintenance and engineering teams
• Creating an atmosphere of ownership as it pertains to safety, profitability, and teammate development
• Maximizing profitablility through the management and execution of multiple capital projects
• Developing teammates technically and professionally
• Communicating and coordinating with multiple maintenance, engineering, operations, and contracting teams

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science in an Engineering related field or equivalent work experience.
2. 2 years project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. CEA project experience
2. Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
