Engineering Manager

Talis Group’s client is a fast-growing but well-established Automotive Tier I supplier with several locations across Mid-West.

Client’s facilities focused on superior quality and reliable delivery for their Automotive OEM clients.

This company is currently hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team across the organization.

This position would ensure standardization and consistency, mentor and develop engineers and lead the team to meet their goals.

Job Requirements:
Highlighted Duties:
Lead, mentor and develop the engineering team focusing on technical development, practical hands-on training and a culture of cost savings.

Create and monitor department operational and capital budgets.

Provide strong technical leadership toward efficient cost reduction methods Develop procedures and tracking measures that promote clear and effective communication channels with the other division departments.

Establish metrics that measure engineering performance.

Identify opportunities for new projects that improve performance and productivity Communicate and collaborate with department managers, customers, suppliers and contractors Prepare and present engineering presentations for staff and customers Highlighted Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, process or project engineering 3+ years of experience managing and leading engineers Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills Proven leadership skills required for this position Proven ability to drive towards KPI’s and develop cost reduction projects Ability to travel 40%
