Employee Relations Manager

This is a Full-time position in Houston, TX posted November 10, 2021.

In the role of Manager – Employee Relations, your key responsibilities will revolve around understanding, investigating and resolving any employee relations issues for the Geography.

Be a trusted advisor to the company on Employee Relation and Labor Law Related matters in the Geography.

Monitoring organization culture and values, proving support in implementing policy and procedures.

Below are the roles and responsibilities aligned to the role –

Employee Relations: Understand, investigate and resolve any employee relations issues at the location.

Coach Managers and Teams on how to better manage such issues.

Organization culture and values: Monitor and ensure effective deployment of company culture during on-boarding of employee processes.

Policy and programs: Lead the implementation policies and procedures.

Spread awareness of the same.

Employee Support & services: handle all relation issues as well as employee-management concerns including grievance, involve in performance planning and counseling.

Internal consultant / advisor: Provide advice on all policy and guideline interpretation of employee relations policies and HR programs.

Handle employee grievances and managerial training.

New hire compliance: Review induction process at locations against the various state laws in USA.

Study any deviation in employee screening program

Business partnership: Lead programs and procedures to create a positive and motivating working environment for organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Basic

Bachelor’s Degree in any career stream

At least 12 years of experience related to the JD.

Preferred

At least 8 Years of experience handling Employee Relation Matters working in HR Departments.

Ability to multi-task between ER Matters across various locations in the USA

Conversant with EEO and AA guidelines.

Keep track of changing Labor Laws and its practical implications in day to day transactions.

Have proven track record of successfully running and monitoring Organization Wide Employee Relation Campaigns/Trainings programs in the USA.
