Role description:

As a leader within the Local People Service team for Arcadis, the Employee Relations & Compliance Manager provides coaching, guidance & subject matter expertise to Employee Relations & Compliance Advisor team ensuring quality delivery & compliance with location legislation as it relates to front line advisory support on people initiatives, programs, or challenges.

They will also collaborate with business partner community and broader people services teams to support the total employee experience within a geographic area.

The role will work closely with the local Country Head of People Services to support an inclusive high performing organization, in line with the strategic people and culture direction. 

This role can be located in any US Arcadis office.

Role accountabilities:

  • Lead the employee relations agenda including M&A’s, legislative & regulatory compliance, policy development setting best practice standards and ensure the provision of commercially sound management of all ER matters
  • Coach, mentor and support Employee Relations & Compliance Advisory team to provide a pro-active, professional and best practice end to end case management service on all core People Advisory activities (including disciplinary, grievance, performance management & employee relations investigation)
  • Work closely with broader people team and key stakeholders from across the business to ensure the delivery of people solutions and interventions
  • Provide guidance and direction on people issues to stakeholders establishing action plans which focus on opportunities to deliver solutions that add value and mitigate risk
  • Responsible for service delivery standards, ensuring they are consistently met or exceeded by Employee Relations & Compliance team
  • Serves as escalation point for GSSC People Services, and Local People Services staff
  • Responsible for research of escalated issues as appropriate and provide resolution in a timely manner
  • Serves as initial point of contact for Background Adjudication escalations
  • Monitors overall performance and workflow of Employee Relations & Compliance team to ensure operational support effectiveness (to include oversight of day to day activities, and support of special projects and annual initiatives)
  • With a focus on continuous improvement, this role will focus on driving process improvement to improve quality and service.
  • Manages functional metrics of support team to identify patterns, trends and opportunities for efficiency or improved service quality
  • Support creation and review of required business process documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and business process documentation to ensure proper execution of transactional processes

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree (preferably in human resources) 
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive (human resources) experience.
  • Experience managing a team in a highly matrixed organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree

Arcadis offers benefits for full time positions.

These benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401K plan, STD and LTD, and Life Insurance as well as some additional optional benefits. 
Full time positions also come with annual PTO days and at certain levels a bonus program may apply. 
The Salary range for this role is $85,000 
– $100,000 (of our internal ranges) for Colorado based positions only.

Other locations will vary in salary range.
