We continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.Responsible for building and scaling a Third-Party Supplier Performance capability at the firm across three primary areas: Performance Management, Relationship Management and Governance & Compliance Management.Performance Management: Measurement, analysis, and management of the performance of a Supplier to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvementRelationship Management: Systematic, enterprise-wide assessment of a Strategic Suppliers strengths and capabilities with respect to our overall business strategyGovernance & Compliance Management: Development of frameworks for adherence to sourcing policies and escalation paths for strategic decisions and issues requiring the involvement of senior leadership This role would work closely with Third Party Risk, Sourcing, Technology, Risk & Resiliency and Enterprise Risk Leadership to drive supplier performance and accountability while identifying opportunities for efficiencies and innovation.
This position will have direct people leader responsibilities.Key Responsibilities: Establish the vision and organizational framework for a comprehensive supplier management program that applies a risk based focusLead internal teams through a strong vision, empathy, and focused developmentDirect and develop the future vision for third party supplier performance across the supplier base, including the development of standards and processesEstablish KPIs and metrics for the internal team in order to evaluation performance against targetsEstablish best practices for supplier KPIs and metrics n order to evaluation performance against targetsInteract with internal and external executives to achieve goalsReport results and highlight risks to Sourcing and Enterprise Risk management15+ years of indirect sourcing, supplier / vendor performance management experience10+ years leading othersRelated degree: Business, Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain.MBA a plusSeries 7 preferred can be achieved after hireKnowledge and Skills: Results oriented leader with expertise in sourcing, supplier performance management, broad knowledge of contracting fundamentals.Demonstrated track record of improving supplier performance and growing teams.Ability to interact with C-Suite executives within Edward Jones and third parties.Strong negotiation, analytical and critical thinking skills.Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.2021 FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For® By Great Place to Work® and FORTUNE Magazine Edward Jones was named No.
