We will develop the technology and knowledge platform necessary to achieve impact through scale.Here’s where you come in:We are currently seeking a Director of Business Development to join our team as a member of our founding leadership group.
You will create and execute our go-to-market strategy and build the team that will work to sell and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Your storytelling abilities married to disciplined sales processes make you a key catalyst for our growth.
As the Director of Business Development, you will be a leader in three key areas:Team LeadershipInitially, your focus will be on hiring and forming a strong sales and account management team.
As we grow over time, you will own the mentoring, coaching, and career development of your team and be a critical part of building a preferred-place-to-work culture.Strategic PlanningYou will work with the leadership team to establish and implement the market strategy
– broadly communicating our vision for grid-integrated buildings, supporting a resilient, carbon-free energy system.Business and Sales DevelopmentYou will develop and implement our marketing roadmap, building out the Edo brand.
You will be accountable for driving new customer engagements and expanding on existing customer partnerships fueling both short and long-term market growth.What we would like to see from you:* BA/BS degree; Advanced degrees desired* Ten (10+) years of experience in strategic sales, preferably selling to large, complex entities (utilities, large corporate entities)* Five (5+) years of management experience, leading successful enterprise sales teams* Strong storytelling ability, able to understand complex topics and create accessible messaging* Ability to teach, mentor and facilitate team developmentEdo is an equal opportunity employer.
