Associate Director of Fulfillment (Food & Bev) Associate Director of FulfillmentGreater Chicago Area$130,000 $150,000 An exciting, growing ecommerce food delivery business, is now looking to hire a world-class, successful logistics and operations site leader to build out & lead the operational road map for their newest facility and build a strong team in the area of fulfillment (Fulfilment, Quality, Warehouse and shipping).

This person will have the opportunity to make decisions that will impact the company as a whole.

Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations for the Logistics & Fulfilment teams’ functional areas including (but not limited to) Logistics, Fulfilment, Warehousing, Inventory, and ShippingAct as the liaison between facility operations and HQ to identify priorities for the facilityDevelop KPI metrics & financial metrics whilesupporting your team in achieving goalsDrive continuous improvement projects on Safety, Quality, Cost and DeliveryCreate a positive work environment The successful candidate will ideally have: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Preferred)10+ years experience managing warehousing/distribution, production operations (preferably in food service, food production or kitting)Strong knowledge of Lean and Agile ProductionFamiliarity with FSMA, HACCP, SQFAbility to think strategically and communicate at the executive levelDemonstrated success at delivering new product initiatives in both a large company and start-up environmentsStrong process improvement & cost saving accomplishmentsExperience with managing teams of direct reports
