Data Strategy @ Droga5

We use data to focus our efforts on the brand experience. The Droga5 data strategy team does this by combining analytical skills with a comprehensive toolset in order to identify growth opportunities for brands in culture, with audiences, in communications and through new or optimized brand experiences. Our job is to take a holistic view of data, mining it for insights that make our work more effective.

Job Summary

The Data Strategy Director is responsible for designing and championing innovative strategies and analytic solutions that drive effectiveness and deliver against client goals. The Director builds client relationships and will partner with both internal teams and external clients to plan, execute and evaluate strategic marketing initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build client relationships and senior internal relationships, highlighting the role of data strategy
  • Using the core areas of audience insight, brand experience and measurement strategy, own and ensure delivery of high quality analysis and recommendations to clients
  • Drive efficiency in work, defining smarter processes and innovation in new approaches
  • Manage and mentor team members to develop technical skills and knowledge
  • Demonstrate how the outputs of data strategy lead to more effective work
  • Contribute to and collaborate in building future product/data strategy approaches
  • Participate in new business efforts
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant case studies, data, tools and approaches using it to trial new analytical techniques, progressing craft skills of the team

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing analytics or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree inarelated field, or equivalent training and/or experience
  • Creative agency, market research or media agency background work
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of market research techniques, qualitative and quantitative
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing, storytelling and data visualization
  • Advanced proficiency of digital and social analytics including website, media, etc. as well as social listening tools such as Netbase etc.
  • Expert ability to utilize various research methodologies, media research, and external data sources
  • Effectively delivering multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and programming languages is desired
