Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising and coordinating unloading of inbound shipments, picking, and staging of product, and picking and staging of outbound shipments.

Responsible for daily warehouse meetings to communicate on work status to management and other departments, receives production reports and helps develop solutions to production issues.

Promote a sales-oriented environment in the location by communicating sales goals, strategies, and measurements, in addition to providing consistent training on sales methodology and customer service.

Allocate materials, supplies, and products between work areas.

Review materials and finished products to ensure conformance to established standards.

Perform employee training in equipment operations.

Resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.

Suggest and implement measures to motivate employees and to improve warehouse methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’ s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Management or similar preferred.

Must have 3 plus years of supervisory experience preferably in a warehouse/distribution environment leading a staff of 20 plus employees in operations of at least 60, 000 sq ft.

Experience with WMS, metric-driven operations, labor, and resource management Computer experience, including Microsoft Excel and Word and the ability to learn in house systems.

Able to analyze information and utilize time management.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.

Ability to read and decipher paperwork.
