This is a Full-time position in Lake Mary, FL posted October 26, 2021.

Position Summary

Perform functions to develop region sales team and implement company strategy within the area of responsibility to ensure achievement of set goals while maximizing ROI of sales resources, all while making good business decisions.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop area sales team through leadership, mentoring, and guidance, providing effective motivation and communication to ensure assigned team achieves results in compliance with plan and established strategy
  • Accompany sales associates in field selling activities to support individual development and ensure performance is aligned with market demands
  • Provide ongoing training, motivation, and communication of pertinent business data
  • Conduct regular business reviews with each sales team member, including, but not limited to comparison of total territory figures, by disease state and by NPI vs Goals and PY
  • Ensure established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met through applied strategies
  • Ensure the effective communication of activities, results, and competitive business intelligence by field sales representatives and work from related information to determine effectiveness within each territory, adherence to strategy
  • Communicate sales initiatives to motivate gains in new referral sources, increase new patient referrals and achieve growth goals in key markets
  • Monitor results and communicate with sales representatives individually and collectively to ensure the effective coverage of accounts and prospects
  • Analyze regional and territorial performance against defined analytics and recommend and implement changes in focus or modification of territorial parameters to capitalize on positive results and improve overall performance
  • Identify markets for target expansion and those that yield less opportunity or margin based on specific key factors leading to maximizing opportunity for profitable business
  • Provide support to Marketing in the development of collateral and contributions to the development of sales strategy through provision of competitive intelligence and customer feedback
  • Develop and communicate performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of associates
  • Support development and implementation of department policies and procedures as needed; ensure associates understand and meet all requirements
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements
  • Participate in a variety of meetings to represent the company and communicate corporate messages to a greater audience
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years of field sales team management experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in sales leadership and managerial skills and the ability to identify and achieve results through sales team management
  • Ability to accurately interpret business results by territory and project business focus or activity shifts to take advantage of evolving markets
  • Proficiency in Windows based business tools and Sales Force platform

Desired Previous Experience/Education

  • Bachelors Degree
