For more information, visit www.nuorder.comPOSITION SUMMARY:NuORDER is seeking a Director, Retail Sales for our retail platform to join our team in New York, NY (working remotely on the East Coast is acceptable). This is an opportunity for a highly intelligent, solution orientated, driven and energetic business development professional to play a key role in the success of a fast growing technology company. You will take the lead in driving enterprise retail partnerships for the NuORDER SaaS platform with VPs and C-level executives at leading retailers globally.These enterprise partnerships require a solution based mindset to deliver digital transformation to the customer.NuORDER is without a doubt the leading platform in the retail market and we enjoy a lot of interest that needs to be nurtured and served.Please note: Applicants must reside in NYC or the East Coast.Responsibilities:* Over the first 12-18 months this a player-coach role. This an opportunity to build your own team backed by a world-class product.Player -Plan and execute an account strategy to deliver maximum revenue potential. Focus on prominent retailers who are both eCommerce or physical.Self-prospect key targeted accounts to schedule discovery and demo calls. As we solve a very important problem for a retailer you will need to build C-Level or VP relationships to help drive decision making and budget approvals.Conduct discovery with all new prospects to understand needsWe believe anyone should be able to run initial web-based demos and diagnostic meetings highlighting solutions that map to potential client needs. Our product is the best in the market and you must be able to demo initial workflows.For advanced customers’ needs, you must work closely with solution engineers and product to solve customer needs, integration points and identify gaps.Report on deals with key internal NuORDER resources to successfully forecast demand.Achieve and consistently exceed sales goalsProvide constant feedback to improve NuORDER technology and wear non-sales hat as neededCoach-You will build the BD/Strategic Sales team that will report into you over the course of 6-12 months.Work with talent acquisition to recruit, identify, and select top talent in the BD/Sales space Onboard, train, and develop new team members to ensure their successProvide support and mentorship to allow for successful team achievement of quarterly goalsWhat it takes to be successful:* Bachelor’s degree is required* At least 7 years of business development & closing experience in retail technologies is required* A minimum of 3 years management experience of a small/growing team* Ability to recruit, train, and provide mentorship to new staff* Manage complex & large sales-cycle with a variety of stakeholders* Although partnerships are large you must break down annual quotas into quarterly targets.* Qualify opportunities and develop a strong pipeline & be able to accurately forecast.* You don’t sit behind SDR’s or other lead generation. You must be able to personally engage with key executives who may not want to hear from others in the company.* Ability to present via zoom or in-person (when possible) the NuORDER product and value proposition to C-level and VP-level audiences* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills* Experience working with procurement and multi-stage deals to maximize revenue.* Proficient in Salesforce to accurately forecast sales activity and pipeline in SFDC* Proven track record: you’re a consistent top performer and have excelled throughout your career at other retail / software companiesWHY NuORDER?We’re creative, innovative, and helping businesses become more efficient.
