Position Overview
Reporting to the Vice President of Consumer Marketing, this position will lead a team responsible for developing, planning and executing best-in-class, strategic marketing programs to drive foot traffic and improve awareness at select Brookfield Properties shopping centers across the country.
The Director of Property Marketing role requires a passionate, creative and customer-focused individual who will provide leadership, inspiration and strategy for the Marketing Departments Property Marketing team.
Responsibilities:
Lead, manage and develop a team of high-performing marketing professionals in a fast-paced, agile work environment
Take responsibility for annual marketing planning and team to develop innovative and integrated marketing strategies and programs based on a deep understanding of our consumer segments and marketing opportunities
Impact business results by developing powerful and effective marketing programs and communication strategies designed to increase awareness, engagement, mall traffic and sales
Partner with the Consumer Insights team to identify robust business opportunities based on thorough, fact-based understanding of shopping center, retailer, consumer, and tenant trends and behaviors
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate campaigns, content and programs while balancing resources and marketing opportunities
Ensure consistent adherence to project management and marketing processes so that marketing strategies and plans are implemented on time and on budget
Manage marketing budget efficiently to ensure resources are fully utilized in the best manner
Maintain a detailed understanding of key performance indicators, including sales performance and traffic results, for key properties and implication on marketing strategies
Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
Foster close relationship with Corporate and Field-level Property Management counterparts, ensure open dialogue and consistent communication so that partners are continuously aware of status of marketing efforts
Think critically, strategically and out-of-the box, and collaborate on developing end-to-end creative solutions while building partnerships with internal and external clients and vendors

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or related field required, Masters degree preferred
5+ years supervisory experience
7 10 years of B2C marketing experience, including digital and retail marketing experience
3+ years experience in digital marketing
Established track record and experience developing and implementing marketing strategies and programs from concept to successful completion
Experience successfully managing several complex processes and projects involving internal clients, external vendors and high-level business issues simultaneously
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
In-depth knowledge of marketing channels and tactics, including events, experiences, promotions, social media and traditional and digital marketing
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, including proficiency in copywriting and proofreading
Expert level knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, and experience applying those to web sites and digital programs
Knowledge of HTML and CSS with an understanding of web site architecture and navigation a plus
Experience with key technology enablers, including, but not limited to social media publishing and monitoring applications (Adobe Social, Shoutlet, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Crimson Hexagon, Radian6 or similar), content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager experience a plus), website analytics (Adobe or Google), and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver)
Ability to travel and weekend and evening hours may be required
