Our Augmented Analytics teams use statistics, machine learning, and AI to assist with data analysis, insight generation, and insight explanation to augment how people explore and analyze data in Tableau. More specifically, we are using these sophisticated approaches in two ways: to streamline and enhance insights we can directly provide to users, and to give users the ability to build their own data science and machine learning models.We’re seeking a Director, Product Management, to a set of Product Management teams for Augmented Analytics. What you’ll be doing:Leading and managing a team of Product Managers to define the capabilities we ship.Participating deeply in strategy development.Defining pricing and other key elements of new products, and partnering with the marketing team as we go to market.Using and expanding the feedback loop so that you can manage these products throughout their life cycles.Representing Tableau’s products to customers and partners.Defining and executing on key product partnerships and platform integrations.Presenting product plans with senior executives and leading that conversation.Searching for opportunities for growth in these products and analytics broadly.Finally, you’ll be part of conversations across Tableau about the evolution of our platform and the path to create the future of analytics. You’ll work cross functionally with many disciplines in Tableau and Salesforce at large to realize your vision for new products.Who you are…Experienced. 7+ years in Product Management with a solid understanding of Product Management practices.Manager. You have a proven ability to manage teams to results, and coach and mentor Product Managers.Passionate. You love the intersection of building software, deeply understanding customer needs, bringing products to market, and data science technologies.Leader. You inspire trust with team members and are able to drive change in a positive and productive way. You anticipate problems and mitigate risks.Customer and user focused. You have the ability to put yourself in a users’ shoes and understand their needs. You listen closely to all avenues of feedback.Strong communicator. You’re able to show a vision of the future and bring people along.Domain.
