Providence is calling a Director of Technical Program Management PSJH to our location in Renton, WA; Redmond, WA; Portland, OR; Irvine, CA; Anchorage, AK or Beaverton, OR.
We are seeking a Director of Program Management role the Administrative Technologies vertical at PSJH.
This role will be focused on leading program management deliverables within the HR and Onboarding business domain.
The scope is both broad and deep, in terms of technical, process and continuous improvement required to develop and build enterprise wide IS services.
This role is both enterprise in nature and startup in mindset because we are creating and building this IS division from the ground floor.
This role will work in a fast paced environment, have constant demands for on time delivery, and will require understanding our customer needs, analysis and design, strong problem resolution, decision making, communication and partnering skills.
This is a leadership role that includes building, managing, leading, supporting, and inspiring a team of direct reports.
This role requires someone to be both a leader and teacher as we bring in a cutting edge program management mindset and skillset to the organization.
It requires a leader to deal with high degrees of ambiguity, ensure strategic alignment, and effectively drive project delivery, while collaborating with business partners, fellow IS organizations and the project teams.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Provides leadership for analysis and design with the project team.
Effectively communicates details to non technical partners, leads engineering improvements and provides insight and guidance in solving complex technical problems.
Anticipates industry and market trends and advises/partners with business leaders.
Proactively meets with customers/partners, builds culture that values partnerships and is responsive to customer needs.
Leads strategy and roadmap with business partners.
Provides leadership to facilitate the evolution and adoption of engineering best practices.
Balances the development of existing employees while bringing in new external and internal talent.
Creates an inclusive work environment where every employee can effectively engage, and wants to be part of the team.
Provides ongoing feedback that helps your direct reports improve their performance.
Leverages resources to help employees develop skills and support their career interests.
Coordinates and plans the team’s work to achieve goals and respond effectively to changing priorities, maintaining team energy and results.
