WORLD SPA is the first of its kind to offer a global, authentic, and unmatched spa experience by preserving ancient practices and uniting various culturally authentic sauna, bathing, and spa treatments in one destination.

We are currently seeking a Director of Operations to work closely with the partners and management team to oversee the successful daily operations of the Spa Reception, Spa Floor, Engineering Department, House Keeping Department, Spa Treatment Center, Members Club, Security Department, and overall front and back of the house operations, including but not limited to troubleshooting, hiring, training, disciplining, and supervising team members and managers.

The Director of Operations ensures WORLD SPA’s Standards of Excellence, consistency of operations, guest satisfaction, and maximizes sales revenue opportunities to achieve top and bottom-line expectations.

This position requires a high level of organizational skills, will do attitude, close attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to effectively manage and help to lead a large team.

As the Director of Operations, you will be accountable for providing leadership and management for all aspects of spa operations.

You will be responsible for strategically shaping guest experience by ensuring that all spa operations consistently run efficiently and smoothly, by providing operational management, troubleshooting, and support for our executive management team.

Essential Functions:
· Identify and develop strategies to improve and enhance spa operations.

· Accountable for ensuring attainment of all spa goals and expectations.

· Accountable for continuous improvement in overall spa operations with an emphasis on increasing partner and guest satisfaction, revenue and cost reduction with approval of the General Manager.

· Master the syndicate allocation methods, budget process, and financial reporting obligations (with the assistance of the Comptroller.)
· Conduct meetings with Board of Directors and Partners.

· Monitor to ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and hygiene standards.

· Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service, and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.

· Manage operational challenges and opportunities.

· Lead Spa budgeting and annual meetings and manage spa meetings (maintain the books and minutes of the spa and ensure that they are kept and updated as per the Facility Documents)
· Maintain appropriate relationships with the management team, directors, and partners.

· Attend and participate in all Executive Committee meetings and events.

· Responsible for the overall performance of spa operations and development of spa team.

· Ensure the facility is well maintained to WORLD SPA STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE with respect to Spa Reception, Spa Floor, Spa Treatment Center, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and front and back of the house operations.

· Fosters professional relationships with members of the spa team to create a productive and positive working environment.

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Spa Operations Management experience required.

· Management experience required with Direct Reports.

· Hospitality Operations Management experience required.

· The ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

· Ability to work flexible hours as required including nights, weekends, and holidays.

· Always maintains a warm and friendly demeanor.

· Must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills and must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of managers, employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

· Must be effective at listening to, empathetic and understanding, and addressing questions and concerns raised by managers, employees, and guests.

· Must be able to adapt quickly and work in a very face paced environment.

· Must be able to multi-task and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

· Must be able to approach guests, managers, and employees attentively, friendly, courteously, and in a service-oriented manner.

Education and Experience
· Spa Operations Management required.

· Hospitality Operations Management experience required.

· Licensed Massage Therapist and or Aesthetician preferred.

Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.

· Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
