Job Description

CoStar is seeking a recognized expert with experience in Retail, Retail Tenants, and Tenant Research with a passion for technology and a design-driven approach to problem solving to focus on tracking and reporting on comparable sales of real estate across the CoStar Suite of products.

As a Director of Product Management focused on Tenants and Retailers, you’ll help shape and execute the product strategy for our industry-leading commercial real estate information, analytics, and online marketplace platform.

You’ll work closely with senior executives, customers, and CoStar’s world class technology, marketing, and sales teams to design, build, and launch new products and feature sets.

This person will drive how owners, brokers, investors, lenders, and any other CRE professional with a focus on buying, selling, lending on, and investing in real estate interact with CoStar to gain the most value out of the information platform.

This includes helping to drive sales research, market and submarket information, property analytics, underwriting reports and analytics, portfolio reporting, lending, etc.

Responsibilities
Be the overarching expert in how users search for, research, interact with, and analyze occupiers of commercial real estate, making sure all products and features within the CoStar suite of products are satisfying the needs of all users focused on leasing, buying and selling, investing, and lending.Prioritize and plan product releases in a fast-paced Agile software development environment.

This includes writing user stories (requirements), prioritizing releases, maintaining a product roadmap and backlog, and creating release notes.Work closely with senior executives, design, engineering, QA, marketing and sales to strategize, plan, and build products and plans that meet aggressive expectations on usage and revenue.Research and test with customers to ensure teams are effectively solving our customers most important problemsUse customer data & usage analytics to inform product opportunities and evaluate results
Qualifications
Commercial real estate domain expertise required, specifically in researching or analyzing occupiers of commercial real estate.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required.Passion for continuous improvement and attention to detail required.Digital product management experience a plus.Experience defining product requirements and launching products/enhancements a plus.Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment a plus.
