This is a Full-time position in Thurston County, WA posted May 6, 2020.

As the Marketplace Director of Product Management, you will work to ensure that JLL delivers competitive software solutions to the commercial real estate, digital businesses and contributes in a predictable manner to the business results and strategic plan of the organization.

You will drive the lifecycle management and product development for JLL Marketplace Solutions.

This includes the utilization of market research, the evaluation of technology trends, and the translation of product requirements and strategy into an ongoing and evolving product roadmap.

You are a key leader that will with a team to support our client’s needs and acts as a liaison with Account Management on the resolution of technical issues impacting clients and work to develop new product features that enable our clients operations.

In addition, you will execute against key business success metrics, including financial targets, client experience metrics, etc.

As Marketplace Director of Product Managemenet you will: Develop and execute the strategic vision and tactical product roadmaps with your product development and product management skills and experience Work with the product and platform management team to deliver against the business plan and enable product features that unlock new customers and markets Own the development of product and business requirements based on market analysis, business strategy and client needs, in the aligned marketplace Own the product roadmap of feature roll-outs, future enhancements to the product and help design the next layer of product functionality that will continue to enhance the product offering Work closely with our primary vendor, ivalua and other third party solution providers to develop features and technology enablement that supports the product operations and client needs Seek business opportunities and develop business plans, to include: the product strategy, as well as the financial and transaction-based forecasts Work closely with sales and customer success to build a product and marketing strategy that highlights the features and functionality of the Marketplace Platform Work closely with sales, development and professional services to ensure requirements are interpreted correctly in detailed design specifications and in the construction of the products Validate and prioritize requirements including defining benefits and impacts of releases across the organization and clients Lead partnerships with key organizational stakeholders, including executive leadership, sales, marketing, operations, finance, legal, etc.

to ensure portfolio and business success Basic Qualifications for Consideration: Education: Bachelors degree in business, engineering or a related field required.

Job-Related Experience: Minimum ten years of experience in Product Management with a minimum of five years of the experience in leading product management and/or product development roles Shown success in effectively managing technology products through key stages of the lifecycle Proven ability to create product development and product release roadmaps that support product and service strategies, go to market requirements and consider dependencies on internal and external partners and can be delivered ontime Proven ability to understand complex business and technical concepts and make balanced judgments when faced with trade-offs Proven ability to work with third party software and technology vendors and solution providers to build shared product functionality and manage and outsource product development Strong working knowledge of business financial practices, accounting and business case development, and ability to run a P&L Strong analytical skills and ability to build consensus Possess strong communication and presentation abilities to interact at all levels of the clients from management to technical and operation levels Solid thought leadership and ability to influence others through collaborative efforts An ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of constituencies both internal and external to the company Strong results orientation with demonstrated track record of success A high degree of adaptability/flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity at times essential The ability to excel in dynamic, fast-paced environment An ability to complete tactical activities with quality and predictability Ability to take a task or objective and break it down to how to get it done
