About the role
As the Director of Payer Partnerships, you will work with the VP of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships to help build out the recently formed BD function.
You will seek new partnerships nationwide, focusing on large regional and national payers, and will be responsible for the entire process including creating a strategy, building a sales pipeline, prospecting, nurturing relationships, and negotiating contracts.
This is a strategic growth area for Two Chairs so you will have the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across our Marketing, Clinical Programs, Product, and Care teams.

Where you’ll make an impact:
Develop payer partnership strategy and go-to-market playbook that directly impacts coverage for Two Chairs services Successfully introduce Two Chairs solutions to key decision-makers at health plans Build a robust pipeline of large regional and national health plans Effectively negotiate contracts for Two Chairs in-network coverage and manage the end-to-end process Collaborate closely with operational teams to deliver outstanding service to our partners Capture and share market insights with relevant teams to improve the fit Two Chairs offerings with payers’ needs.
You’ll be successful if you:
Have 7+ years in payer partnerships, sales, contracting, and network experience Understand provider contracting and network management operations Posses relationships at regional and national health plans to help drive early traction Are an effective verbal and written communicator Have a consistent track of quota attainment and strong negotiation skills Enjoy the fast pace of a start-up environment and have experience in Digital Health
