Director of Operations: Food and Beverage
Gourmondo Co is a dynamic, growing Seattle-based food business looking to add an Operations Director to our team!
Our Gourmondo team is passionate about quality and seeks to provide fresh flavorful menus, made using locally sourced ingredients, inspired by our love of great food. Since our beginnings in Seattle’s Pike Place Market over 20 years ago, we’ve grown into a bustling operation comprised of award-winning chefs and expert-level staff serving guests through our catering, box lunch, and café programs.

Your areas of focus include:
- In Our Events Division
- Management of Catering Manager & Catering Operations Manager
- Deliver the highest level of guest experience by syncing sales and operations team in the division
- Continue to build a culture of excellence in service and execution across all social and corporate events
- Ensure proper and thorough training is in place to provide well-trained staff on all events
- Establish and monitor inventory levels and quality standards for all equipment required to execute events
- In Our Delivery Division
- Management of Delivery Operations Manager & Customer Service Lead
- Deliver the highest level of guest experience by syncing sales and operations team in the division
- Oversight of Fleet and rental vehicles including up to date projection of future needs and budget
- Oversight of high-quality training for both driving and customer service teams
- Refine and maintain presentation standards for staff, set-up, and guest experience
- In Our Café Division
- Collaborate with Café Division Director to ensure there is comprehensive support from Gourmondo HQ for all café operations needs.
Who We are Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing managers in food service/hospitality, specifically hotel or catering
- Proven leadership ability, ready to lead, coach, and inspire multiple teams
- Skilled project manager with a proven ability to collaborate and take initiatives across the finish line
- Logistics experience including fleet management
- Advanced food handling experience including food safety and HACCP
- Knowledge and experience in bar and beverage programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communicator
- Ability to think creatively and remain adaptive in the dynamic environment of a company building back in a post-COVID landscape
- Ability to interpret and present data to report progress and inform future planning
- Proficient user of Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems/software is a plus
- Project Management certification is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
