Director of Nursing – Marias Care Center Long Term Care (Shelby, MT)

Overview: Directs Nursing Department as their leader.

Assures adherence to all policies, procedures and regulations at all times.

Implements and interprets policies, procedures, standards, and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff and the public.

Performs duties in any nursing capacity as needed.

All employees of Marias Care Center share the responsibility of caring for the residents, family members and guests, employees, and the facility.

Responsibilities: 1.

Plans for, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs the departments for which the Director of Nursing has responsibility.

High quality services are provided in accordance with the philosophy and mission statement of Marias Care Center.

This provision is evidenced by: positive comments by staff and customers relative to the care provided by Marias Care Center staff, positive survey outcomes, positive results from customer service surveys, outcome based strategic plan which is updated on an annual basis at a minimum.

Plans for and ensures adequate numbers of competent staff to fulfill departmental objectives.

Willing and capable of functioning in staff role as necessary.3.

Assist Nursing Home Administrator with the preparation for and collaborates prior to and during the CMS and long term care surveys.

Qualifications: 1.

Current Montana RN license.2.

Bachelor degree in Nursing preferred.3.

Minimum 5 years supervisor experience.
