Silver Resort”s two properties, named Bridgewalk, a landmark resort and Silver Surf Gulf Beach Resort, are second generation, locally owned and operated on Anna Maria Island. We are looking for a Director of Marketing, who will align every communication that our guests and staff recieve to our vision, core values and culture.Essential Functions include but not limited to the following: INTERNAL MARKETINGParticipates at an Executive level in understanding and communicating with Accounting and the Assistant General Manager in decisions that impact the ability to reach the company Vision, Mission Statement as well as the Core Values and Business DriversAssists in the development of creative to support internal training, education, and communication with EmployeesInternal messaging and promotion to in-house guestsAttends staff meetings, as necessary.Prepares and submits all required weekly and monthly reports as requestedEXTERNAL MARKETINGAssists the General Manager in the development of annual promotional property rates.Develops sales forecasts and departmental budget.Reports to the Executive Team regarding sales forecasts and weekly activities.Develops, Manages and Reports on the overall sales and marketing budget which ties into the annual sales and marketing program.Develops and Manages the annual sales and marketing plan, including travel agent, wholesale and consumer markets in support of organizational strategy and objectives.Strategizes, plans, develops, and executes timely marketing campaigns to increase revenueDevelops strategy and executes all aspects of digital and print advertising and marketingAssists the General Manager in the development, maintenance and management of a sales and marketing measurement program to measure the success of the marketing efforts.Works with vendors in the development of Creative (i.e. print, video, digital design, etc.) and coordinates the distribution of creative materials.Develops and maintains relationships with Travel Agents and WholesalersIdentifies, Develops and Maintains Advertising Markets.Organizes, Plans and Travels when necessary to state, national and international trade shows.Develops and maintains a relationship with CVBs, Chambers of Commerce, State Marketers (i.e. FLAUSA)Develops and promotes Silver Resort Properties through public relations, including press releases, promotional events, and charitable organizations.Participates in local, national, and International industry groups.Develops new programs which result in an increased level of customer loyalty and revenue generation.Other duties as assigned based on company needs.DIGITAL MARKETINGOversees day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistencyManages vendors that are contracted to assist in the development and execution of Digital Marketing.Develops a deep understanding of our company vision, mission, culture, and product, and leverages that knowledge to create compelling and relatable content that appeals to multiple marketsPossesses a thorough understanding of each social media market, and ability to tailor messaging accordinglyEnsures brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminologyWorks with the Executive Team to create a monthly content calendar across key social channels, producing content that aligns with company culture and other marketing effortsSupervises all aspects of social media interaction between guests and the company, and partners with staff to ensure a positive customer service experienceEnsures presence on all social media platforms by using analytics and metrics to determine if campaigns are successfulIncreases social media engagement across all platforms through creative contentCreatively connects with other partners in social media/digital platforms (i.e. CVB, Chamber, Bridgewalk Tenants)Identifies, creates, and executes photography and/or videos that will be used digitallyHelps identify and procure social influencers to promote the area and propertiesManages guest reviews for consistency in furthering the company vision, values, and culture
