We are looking for a Human Resources Director to develop, coordinate, and execute HR initiatives and programs that drive organizational strategy and business results for the C&F Pet Business Unit (PBU).
This position requires expertise and insight into a range of disciplines, including talent management, organizational development and learning, and employee relations.
Working closely with PBU senior leadership and the A&H Division HR team, the incumbent will be a trusted advisor to the business, consulting with the leaders on strategic decisions to drive a high performance culture.
Responsibilities: Partner closely with senior leadership to understand its financials, objectives, and challenges to best drive a high performance culture.
Consult and advise the business leader and management team on organizational design and aggressively participate in talent management and performance management of both existing and prospective employees.
Coach Managers on setting clear performance expectations and supporting them during employee relations matters so as to handle them in a professional, legal, and ethical manner.
Provide consultative support to employees on career development, performance issues, and general concerns.
Collaborate closely with A&H HR Team to drive and execute cross A&H Division people and culture strategies and programs.
Manage employee relations issues, counsel managers in application of HR policies, conduct employee investigations and exit interviews.
Work closely with the Corporate HR Shared Services team on all payroll, benefits and disability matters.
Partner with senior leadership and VP A&H HR on annual compensation planning and overall compensation strategy for Pet employees Remain current on statutory legislations, laws and overall HR trends.
Manage recruitment efforts and maintain job descriptions.
Provide new hire onboarding and orientation.
Participate in annual budgeting process with senior management.
Participate in special projects where needed.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree is required; undergraduate or graduate work in HR or business a plus.
Minimum 5 years experience in an HR generalist/HR Business Partner role.
Experience providing employee consultation, employee relations, human capital planning, talent management and career planning.
Experience with a Call Center employee population ideal Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) (preferably with Ultimate Software), and the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Demonstrated ability to build positive client relationships and influence all levels of the organization.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
