Director of Factory Information Security Controls and Compliance

About the Role:

The Director of Factory Information Security Controls and Compliance is a senior leadership position responsible for leading factory security and controls functions delivering modern solutions and processes into Intel manufacturing environments to support increasing and evolving security standards and policies.

Solutions would span all manufacturing segments globally.

The selected candidate will report to the General Manager of Factory Infrastructure and Security center of excellence organization within the TD ATA division and manage a team of 10 engineers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish factory security strategies required to meet compliance objectives.

    Ensure that solutions and capabilities of the security function meet the needs of Intel factories while not adversely impacting velocity.

  • Establish, develop, and execute security strategies, including road map alignment, audits and certifications, policy controls and compliance to name a few.
  • Drive and own responses to new and emerging technologies as it relates to factory security with external partnerships, internal customers and partners promoting strong strategic relationships.
  • Establish appropriate factory focused governance, policies, procedures, standards and controls engineered for manufacturing environments.
  • Establish and appropriately grow group that promotes innovation and idea generation; align functional teams internal and external to TD strategic priorities and ensure strong coordination and resourcing.
  • Lead through ambiguity and bring clarity through defined strategies and executable plans.
  • Lead the maturation of the factory security talent strategy, and the acquisition, training, development, and retention of the talent base.
  • Take requirements from partners and factory customers to ensure the appropriate implementation, adoption and modernization of factory security solutions and processes.
  • Grow factory security talent and focus on creating a pipeline of specialists with relevant security experience and strong understanding of manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate must exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the relevant technology and industry trends.
  • Communication skills: written and verbal
  • Analytical skills: excellent business and financial judgment
  • Understanding of interaction with the factory infrastructure and associated application eco-system.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a technical organization to execute and operationalize strategies.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering major automation programs with broad scope, high levels of complexity, cross functional teams, and challenging deliverables.

Requirements :

  • 5+ years’ experience leading technical teams.
  • Broad range of skills and experiences ideally covering cybersecurity, information security, NIST, risk management, vulnerability assessments, remediation assessments, firewalls and mitigation
  • Experience with security governance standards, policies, controls and associated certifications.
  • Experience translating technology roadmaps and strategy to operational improvement.
  • Experience building training programs at all levels (from awareness training through technical training).
  • Experience in factory automation, including process equipment, data center applications and related support systems preferred.
  • DOD Security Clearance preferred
  • CISM certification preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in cyber security architecture and operations
