· San Diego, California nn nnDFO Global Performance Commerce, and its full service agency division, Amasa, are seeking a Director of Ecommerce Account Strategy to join us in helping entrepreneurs scale their online businesses beyond their wildest dreamsnn nn n OVERVIEW: nAmasa is a full service, performance marketing agency that helps ecommerce and lead generation businesses profitably acquire new customers AT SCALE.
Our bread and butter is website optimization (CRO), multivariate split testing, and spending millions of dollars per month across a wide variety of traffic platforms such as Facebook and Google, while driving our clients profitable return-on-ad-spend (ROAS).nn nnWe are seeking a Director of Ecommerce Account Strategy to lead our team of client Account Strategists.
In this role, you will be the tip of the spear responsible for collaborating with clients, media buyers, developers, and creative team members to build out bespoke marketing strategies that can be implemented to drive customer acquisition online.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success working with a broad range of ecommerce clients, has razor sharp project management chops, and enjoys working with a broad coalition of stakeholders, often located remotely.nn nnThis role will be responsible for analyzing the clients complete business model, product SKUs, pricing structure, technology stack, ad campaigns, creative strategy, and value proposition.
They will distill all of this information into workable action plans, that Amasa developers, creative team members, and media buyers can seamlessly execute against.nn nnAs various issues arise, this individual will be the first one to analyze the data, decipher it, and make strategic recommendations for improvement.nn nn YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: nn Meeting with clients during the onboarding process and getting a firm grasp on their vision, brand, key performance indicatorsn Distilling this information into actionable task listsn Assigning tasks to relevant stakeholders and assuring that nothing is “lost in translation”n Conducting research on the industry, key competitors, and market segment on an ongoing basis Crafting the overarching strategy for each client, including:n Digital customer acquisition strategy n Website / funnel experience (we’re talking the entire flow here)n Developing a robust CRO plan as well as split tests and ongoing optimizationsn Suggesting upsells and other revenue generating opportunitiesn Ensuring and owning the overall client experience and ultimately, their success nn n YOUR SKILLS: nn 5+ Years experience working across a wide range of ecommerce businesses, either as part of an Agency or in a Consultancy n Extensive Shopify experience (you know and can whiz through Shopify better than anyone you know)n BA or equivalent from a 4 year university with an emphasis in business, marketing, or economics (MBA preferred)n Project Management certificationn Understand the entire ecommerce ecosphere: ad platforms, creative, technology, CRMs, split testing and optimization strategiesn Reside in, or be willing to relocate to, San Diego, CA nn n BENEFITS: n nn nn#1
