The company has a global presence and are continuing to grow their corporate development team by adding a high-calibre M&A/Corporate Development professional. The role will focus on researching, analysing, and executing the firm’s M&A, PE and VC partnership activity across a variety of geographies, and as such, we are looking for a candidate with some of the following attributes to help build the program.
As we ramp up our new divisions, we are looking to expand our team by hiring a new Director of Business Development – Venture Global to help lead and execute the revenue growth of our Venture Global team. We are looking for an ambitious, relationship-focused, and results-driven candidate that is self-aware with experience selling services to the Venture Capital / Private Equity and M&A markets.
This person will be responsible for developing and executing the EOR sales go-to-market plan that drives revenue growth, new Venture Global partner acquisition, and Elements’ expansion in the Americas region. Working closely with the Vice President Business Development – Americas, the Program Manager – Venture Global, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to present a holistic and unified approach to the customers, this position is a key role in growing our Americas region.
The Director will pursue and close partner deals with VC/PE and M&A organizations. The Director will work to maximize opportunities from partner organizations
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent prior Technology/TMT sector M&A transactional experience – within a top-tier bank or consultancy
- 4+ yrs experience with growth strategy or M&A consulting and business development
- 3+ years of buy-side private equity experience
- 3+ yrs of commercial due diligence experience
- 5-10 years of relevant B2B Sales focused on the VC/PE and M&A vertical
- Experience in a start-up organization, preferably in EOR, HR Tech
- Superior sales & people skills, ability to build trustful relationships at all levels, with key industry players, partner prospects and the sales team

Responsibilities:
- Develops and facilitates sales of Global HR, Tax and Mobility products and services through Venture Global partners
- Generate partnering opportunities for yourself in alignment with Venture Global program
- Assist direct sales organization when Venture Global program can add value
- Connect with the key influencers in target organizations and develop trusted advisor status
- Works to consistently improve the Venture Global partnering experience: conduct enablement and training sessions on Elements and Venture Global Partner
- Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
- Delivering significant business results that reflects strategic and creative thinking, sharp analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to frame complex problems and apply creative analytics to formulate a pragmatic solution;
- Applying sound fact based statistical/mathematical approaches e.g. segmentation, regression to solving commercial problems;
- Participating actively in client or Target company management discussions to gather data and understand criteria;
- Managing and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex commercial data leveraging strategic analysis techniques and develop client deliverables;
