Director – Middle-market M&A

Job DescriptionDay-to-day activities include, but are not limited to:• Business Development: Expected to develop and maintain client relationships through active client coverage. Assist and support the Managing Directors in their client coverage initiatives.• Execution: Creating and preparing client presentations in the context of transaction execution and/or business development. Executing transactions within the context of deal teams, including performing valuation, merger and other types of quantitative and qualitative analysis• Teamwork: Providing guidance to Associates and AnalystsQualifications• BA/BS required; MBA preferable• Must have at minimum six years of progressive cross-border middle-market M&A experience• Must have experience covering the Asian markets and working with Asian corporations• Must have very good English skills; fluency in one or more Asian languages is a plus• Strong relationship management skills• Positive attitude• Excellent work ethic• High-level organizational abilities• Leadership qualities• Ability to multi-task and take the initiative while managing and coordinating mandates, meeting deadlines and working within the team• Flexibility to travel (domestically and internationally) at short noticeJob Type: Full-timeExperience:• middle-market M&A: 6 years (Required)Education:• Bachelor’s (Required)Location:• New York, NY (Required)
