We need to leverage our ISV (Independent Software Vendors) ecosystem to dramatically accelerate our ability to deliver strategic industry connectivity and solutions to meet customer demand.

The Director, ISV Marketing will be responsible for driving the overall design, adoption, execution and success of ISV programs.

This leader will create and lead our go-to-market strategy and execution plan for our ISV ecosystem, a top priorities in our corporate V2MOM.

We’re looking for a talented, hardworking, high-integrity marketing leader that can think strategically and execute with purpose.

They are comfortable working collaboratively and delivering results in a matrixed environment and enjoys interacting cross-functionally.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who drives action and results; is comfortable flexing between strategy and execution; and demonstrates a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.

Specific Responsibilities:
This role will create and lead MuleSoft’s ISV marketing and go-to-market strategy and plan across marketing, BD, partner enablement, sales enablement and field teams, Define, create and execute joint go-to-market partnerships with ISVs to unlock market potential, prioritizing the highest leverage opportunities to grow pipeline and influenced ACV.

Build and grow a team of high performing ISV marketing professionals, focused on 1 hire to start
ISV Marketing:
Build and lead the MuleSoft ISV partner marketing program, working closely with all appropriate corporate/internal and external teams to design and launch global partner program Build and grow a team of high performing ISV marketing professionals, focused on 1 hire to start Key Deliverables to include: Create, document and own a programmatic GTM strategy and program for ISV partners.

Establish clear criteria and KPIs for differentiating ISV tiers and supporting BOMs.

The objectives are 1) to make it simple for our ISV partners to drive business with us and 2) to make it simple for our field teams to work with these ISV partners and 3) ultimately drive pipe and ACV with strategic ISVs Develop an ISV Program Guide for ISVs for co-marketing with technology partners, differentiated by tiers, including key self-service partner deliverables and joint content.

Develop campaign-in-a-box for execution by partners.

Provide Internal Enablement on ISV Programs to encourage and educate sellers Provide ISV partner enablement plan to ensure that partners can clearly articulate the joint value proposition of MuleSoft and the ISV in addressing key use cases.

Align with the Industry Product Marketing team to ensure strategic ISVs are identified and embedded into our key industry use cases and campaigns.

Set and track clear KPIs on measuring success.

Partner with Solutions team, guide ISV solution development process in partnership with Business Development team to ensure tight alignment with key business objectives, including use case prioritization and positioning Create and execute a strategy to drive MuleSoft customer awareness and adoption of Solutions built by ISV partner ecosystem Identify key areas to where MuleSoft can collaborate on thought leadership with ISV partners to increase mindshare in industries.

Partner with our MuleSoft Anypoint Exchange team as the Marketing lead to drive adoption of Anypoint Exchange within our ISV and customer base

Required Skills/Experience
10+ years of experience in partner marketing/product marketing at a high tech company, or similar 5+ years of experience in ISV/global alliance development and/or global program management.

Experience working with ISVs through account management, product management, program management and/or business development engagements.

Strategic vision to articulate go-to-market strategy, and the “do-what-it-takes” mindset to lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive execution Strong communicator with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to create visionary technical assets that showcase the power of MuleSoft + Salesforce Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience influencing change across a global & matrix organization Experience with enterprise technology and the sales cycle.

Keen understanding of the Salesforce technology stack a plus Experience and understanding of ISV markets and programs, breadth and depth, with prior responsibilities in one or more industries (Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail and Manufacturing) Strong leadership and influencing skills Roll up the sleeves attitude with strategic “big picture” acumen
