Director, Industry Product Marketing

Industry Product Marketing, responsible for go-to-market strategy and marketing for our most strategic verticals, is central to our ongoing growth, success and market leadership.

We’re hiring a Director of Product Marketing to lead this mission-critical function for MuleSoft.

The ideal candidate for this role is a tenured product marketing leader who can establish the strategic vision for this team, drive cross-functional executive alignment around that vision, provide hands-on coaching in service of that mission, and get into the crafting of great industry-oriented content and field enablement as needed.

Core responsibilities include: Developing and coaching a team of product marketing industry leads to accelerate growth within our focus verticals
– Banking, Insurance, Retail / Consumer Goods, Healthcare / Life Sciences, Public Sector, and Manufacturing Launching high-impact industry messaging
– including sales decks, customer stories, demos and website content
– that empowers our field sales team to speak the language of our customers Partnering with sales enablement to empower MuleSoft and Salesforce field teams to speak to the value of MuleSoft in industries Accelerating pipeline generation and pipeline maturation through support for industry-specific campaigns, 3rd party events (e.g.

HIMSS, NRF, SIBOS), and corporate events (e.g.

MuleSoft CONNECT, Dreamforce) Embedding MuleSoft into Salesforce’s industry go-to-market through the development of thoughtful joint messaging, sales plays and campaigns to increase internal Salesforce stakeholder awareness and market mindshare Leading launches and run-rate go-to-market for industry-specific products and solutions Defining KPIs to evaluate the growth of MuleSoft in industries in partnership with digital marketing and sales strategy teams The ideal candidate will have 7 years technology marketing experience, including experience with industry and/or solution marketing Experience leading and developing high-performing product marketers Proven track record of crafting winning product positioning and bringing it to life through multiple mediums (slides, eBooks, web, etc.) World-class written, oral, and visual communication skills Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across diverse sets of stakeholders Quantitative orientation, with the ability to leverage data to evolve industry GTM tactics and strategy over time Keen interest in technology and familiarity with technical concepts (e.g.

APIs) Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
