Join a mission with a company behind it.**In this Role:**You’ll be part of a high-performing business development team focused on driving partnerships with leading health plans nationally with deal values of $10M+ per year.
The Director, Business Development is a key role in developing and deploying market intelligence to support a strategic go-to-market process.
Strong analytics skills, creativity, and a solution-forward approach will be important drivers of success for this role.**Role responsibilities include:**+ Utilize available data to develop strategic market intelligence to inform the business development approach across market, competitive, and organizational dynamics+ Interact with internal and external executives to advance the commercial process and achieve key go-to-market milestones+ Support the development of best-in-class presentation strategy, narratives, and content to support external meetings with senior stakeholders+ Advance the standardization of best-practice templates for market analysis, executive presentations, and commercial process management+ Participate actively in translating market intelligence into marketing and product strategy+ Contribute to the development of reporting, tracking and analytics tools to support team operations and performance management across all phases of the commercial process**The Experience You Need (Required):**+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience+ 5-7 years working experience in business development, consulting, strategy and/or marketing+ Experience in the healthcare industry preferably in a health plan or health system environment+ Excellent communication skills**Finishing Touches (Preferred):**+ Effective presentation skills and listening skills+ Experience with consultative sales process for complex, multi-year deals+ Strong ability to navigate matrixed team environments to achieve buy in from all parties and own results**Technical requirements:**Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19.
