The Director of Global Corporate Communications position is a role and opportunity for the right person to help us build a new comms function and create new programs that bring the story to life globally.
The successful candidate will serve on the external communications leadership team and help create a high-impact communications strategy and programs around the company, its business success, employer brand, and DE&I efforts.
Success in this role requires the ability to establish a vision for communications and manage to it, in particular, through periods of rapid growth.
The ideal candidate has proven success leading enterprise tech communications programs, providing counsel to executive stakeholders, and developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities: Sets corporate communications strategy, aligns function with corporate strategy and creates formal networks within the company to execute it successfully Build and scale a program to showcase the company’s success that will establish it as an empathetic company creating a new category in the customer experience industry Counsel and support our leadership team on critical communications issues, including potential crisis communications or corporate development transactions Craft effective net new messaging and positioning for projects or moments with a clear understanding of the context around messaging, such as competitors, risks, etc.
Create frameworks to guide decisions around significant and unique issues where analysis of situations require an evaluation of intangibles and exercises impeccable independent judgment to obtain results Drive DE&I communications strategy and plans to bring the most impactful stories to life through critical moments, such as trending media conversations, industry and company events, and executive keynotes Facilitate global communications programs around some of the company’s most strategic activities and regional initiatives in emerging markets Qualifications: 12 years of public relations experience Experience in B2B technology communications Excellent mentorship/leadership skills and with a team player mentality; leads by example embodying accountability and transparency with peers, colleagues, and leadership Impeccable attention to detail, understanding of enterprise technology and current consumer trends, and ability to communicate complex topics effectively Ability to work in a collaborative environment while also working independently and autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrable strength in writing clear and impactful press releases and an understanding of AP Style
