Lead product strategy, development and delivery of a disruptive Web-to-Product SaaS solution enabling emerging brands to achieve high-impact packaging designs, increasing store and e-com sales, reducing costs and rework, and improving time-to-market with the aim of creating a $50M+ business within the next 5 years.

The candidate will use start-up experience and digital product management skillset to refine and expand the business strategy, create the product strategy, and drive product discovery and delivery.

This position is for a multi-dimensional person who is enthusiastic about working in a start-up set-up, digital business transformation, digital product management, emerging digital technologies, creativity and breakthrough, ground-breaking innovation, as well as grounded in business, strategy, and product management in the dynamic world of packaging and color.

Position Description

This role is a unique opportunity to contribute and lead the building of a new, rapid growth, cloud-native SaaS business that bridges the design and manufacturing gaps between the physical package and its digital ”twin.” This so-called twin represents the “blueprint” of the package and components before it is made.

This is a highly relevant trend in consumer goods allowing for more agility and better use of packaging assets and product information for marketing, social media, and retail marketing.

We also sees a very real opportunity to influence packaging sustainability and environmental impact through smart packaging design.

You will lead the development and launch of a SaaS-based product design and workflow tool.

This tool will lead all aspects of an end-to-end product built-out process
– from ideation, through supplier selection, into product testing and experimentation, and on through the manufacturing process.

The value to the customer would be to provide a more agile and flexible development process, with the ability to test and experiment while tracking eventual unit costs, feasibility, and timelines for delivery.

This product is intended to maximize and deploy other adjacent technologies at Esko, Pantone and X-Rite, but also to develop new and more innovative approaches to existing and future industry challenges.

Your Education and/or Background Experience will include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related degree.

  Advanced degree and/or MBA is preferred.

• Hands-on start-up experience for digital solutions, with dynamic and increasing responsibility
• B2B or B2C experience with SaaS-oriented software development and commercialization
• Understanding of cloud technologies and SaaS business models to drive success with commercial teams
• Practitioner of agile development and continuous integration/deployment
• Can work in an environment that combines commercial strategy with UX/UI and product functionality
• Product Owner graduated to Product Manager role, a plus
• Knowledge/experience with design market and packaging design, a plus
