Director, Communication & Education

This is a Full-time position in Albuquerque, NM posted December 29, 2021.

The Director, Communications & Education position exists within Fidelity’s Workplace Investing business unit and is an important part of the Communications Delivery leadership team.

This role will lead and empower a team of associates responsible for delivering Plan Sponsor and Participant communications through print, email and other digital channels.

The ideal candidate will effectively coach their team on project management skills, quality execution and consultation with internal customers.

The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas to the group, be willing to try new things and lead broad-based initiatives.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Required or equivalent with demonstrated ability
  • Experience in employee benefits communication and/or financial services preferred
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, influencing, decision-making and team building skills
  • Project management, process engineering and organizational change experience very helpful
  • Ability to lead a team across multiple geographical locations
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, matrix management environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident, polished professionalism and an executive presence in front of key business partners
  • Ability to create / share strategic thinking and consult with senior leaders

The Team

Communications & Education provides consulting, content development, and delivery services for business partners, prospects, plan sponsors, and their participants across all market segments.

In partnership with external vendors and internal business partners, the Communications Delivery group crafts and or delivers participant content via email, print, and online.

The department is fast paced and prone to high seasonal demand, requiring creativity and agility to maintain consistent quality and service levels.
