Job Description
- Help build the build and coordinate the Razorfish Commerce capability with multiple departments to support client initiatives
- Oversee the strategy, development, and scale of Razorfish commerce products
- Oversight and direction for quantitative and qualitative research associated with commerce products and engagements
- Creation of key insights that drive smart digital marketing campaigns through a deep understanding of the consumer and the clients business
- Leadership in business development work across the region
- Direct involvement on client work, including the development of briefs, idea generation, relationship building, and deliverable development
- Coordination with related disciplines, including Creative, User Experience, Technology, Media Planning/Buying, and Project Management
- Building the Regions Marketing Strategy and Planning discipline
- Development of frameworks for all aspects of digital marketing, including customer strategies, product strategies, pricing strategies, promotion strategies, and targeting strategies
- Creation and promotion of thought capital, including speaking engagements, white papers, case studies, and related content
- Operational Management of the Marketing Strategy and Planning discipline
- Recruiting, motivating, mentoring, and staffing of strategists across all offices as dictated by client needs, including development of job descriptions, interviewing, goal setting, and appraisals
- Management of strategist resource pool of 10+ strategists and planners of all levels, including utilization/chargeability and revenue contribution
Qualifications
- Expert knowledge in the CPG vertical, including eRetail, marketplace, retail media and social commerce
- Strong knowledge of commerce systems, experience design, analytics, and delivery approaches
- Strong presentation and executive sales skills
- Ability to be fluid in delivery models, as we often are moving at speed and without all requirements known
- A sense of what to focus on next, and how to move for maximum benefit instead of maximum completeness of solution
- The ideal candidate will have a BA or BS degree of a top university
- The candidate will have 10-15 years of experience and 5+ years of consulting experience in strategy and operations at a premier strategy consulting firm, advertising agency, or major Corporation.
- This person will be a driven, results-oriented individual with a “can do” attitude who can translate unstructured business situations into innovative customer marketing programs.
- The candidate should be a creative thought leader, strong analytically and at the same time a pragmatic thinker
- The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills
- The candidate will also possess strong interpersonal skills, be comfortable in the board room, be a team player and work well with/through Discipline Leads and clients remotely
