The Director is responsible for driving planning, collaborating and executing the long-term vision of Business Intelligence and data discovery through the company. The position will be responsible for the business needs (assessment, project management, quality, integration testing and adoption testing) and implementation (design development and delivery). This person will drive high profile global collaborative projects, develop and coach a strong team who are seen as key business partners and proactively approach furthering analysis strategies and delivering business value. Job Duties * Lead the team responsible for the identification and implementation of innovative business intelligence reporting and analytics frameworks and solutions to facilitate strategic decisions. * Identify new market opportunities uncover areas for improvement and monitor business performance. * Implement Business Intelligence tools to bring better data discovery, self-service reporting and analytics to the company. * Drive, plan, collaborate and execute the long term vision of the reporting platform through the company. * Participate in migration to global Azure data platform to assure sales and marketing requirements and needs are met. * Migrate Qlik and SAP BOBJ reporting to Microsoft Power BI platform. * Lead change management strategy and execution so maximum adoption is reached. * Accountable for the delivery of business intelligence solutions that provide integrated data and enable business planning and decisions. * Create a 360 degree view that connects Sales Marketing Operations IT Service Field Service etc. to give the customer the experience they need and Olympus the connection and visibility it needs. * Develop and define the short and long term strategy for delivering analytics capabilities to business groups; ensure timely and accurate reporting on key metrics and KPIs is delivered to stakeholders in an easy to use and actionable format. * Work closely with sales management to inspect sales process reporting; proactively identify opportunities for sales process reporting improvement by determining process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Job Requirements *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* * Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or Masters Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance or related field preferred. * Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales Analysis and/or related field. * Experience should be inclusive of minimum of 3 years of experience leading and managing teams (both directly and through influence) with a proven record of team building and leadership in a cross-functional role. * Minimum of 5 years experience with Business Intelligence Tools, (Qlik, Business Objects, Tableau and/or Power BI) *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** Experience leading teams through transformational phases. * An innovation-oriented mindset and approach to the field of analytics and reporting; proven record of strong quantitative skills in a marketing and sales environment. * Track record of working directly with both Sales leadership and Sales representatives to gather insights and implement actionable strategies.*We realize work isn’t just a job to you.*It’s a big part of your life, but not the only part.
