Work with the business on ideation & viability assessment of new product designs.
Lead the development of assumptions and pricing models to support financial evaluations.
Evaluate other (non-development) initiatives through collaboration with business partners and seek sustainable solutions to any complex problems.
Produce baseline analysis, identify & clearly communicate key results drivers and sensitivities.
Make supportable recommendations to optimize the risk/return profile.
Assess the potential impact of competitive & regulatory trends that may provide threats or opportunities to our business.
Respond to ad-hoc requests and continually seek efficiencies to existing processes.
Maintain appropriate documentation & controls for all work.

• B.S./ B.A.
required
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries designation (FSA) with 7 years of actuarial experience
• Recent pricing experience on fixed, fixed indexed and/or indexed variable annuities with a solid understanding of ALM and Valuation considerations pertaining to such products
• Experience with actuarial/modeling software (MATLAB, GGY Axis, Python, etc.)
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, resourcefulness in solving complex problems
• Good research skills; ability to gather and distill information from internal and external sources in order to develop assumptions and methodologies
• Ability to handle multiple projects, work independently and generate informed recommendations
