Job Description Summary
Come join the Travelers National Property team!
The National Property actuarial team has an exciting opportunity for an analytic-minded person with an interest in directly impacting business decisions at both the account and the portfolio level.
This position is primarily responsible for large account pricing for National Property, including providing pricing advice/insights directly to field underwriters, underwriting leadership, and Home Office leadership.
Other responsibilities include occupancy studies to enhance pricing guidance to underwriters, segmentation monitoring and enhancements, key contributor towards Property Benchmark Tool enhancements, and other profitability related analysis as needed.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience performing quantitative analysis required.
Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge
- College degree in STEM related field.
- Associate Actuarial Credential preferred.
- 7+ years of quantitative analysis experience.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and industry.
- Demonstrated ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis and statistical concepts.
- Management experience.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to present and translate complex information in relevant business terms.
- Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming skills (eg.
SQL, SAS).
