Dining Services Director

We are recruiting for a Dining Services Director to manage our food service department.

The Dining Services Director is directly responsible for establishing and maintaining all standards of quality, conduct, customer service, and productivity within the Dining Services Department. Maintain appropriate levels of staffing and food/supplies inventories and work within established budget guidelines. He/she must possess general knowledge in the following areas of operation: productivity, costs and budgets, purchasing, receiving, storing systems, preparation and serving techniques, portion control, kitchen sanitation and general management of Dining Services Department. Promote a thorough and continuous understanding among all employees of the importance of the Dining Services Department to the quality of life for residents and prospective residents.

Qualifications:

• This department director should have experience in providing fine dining in a variety of venues.
• The ideal candidate will have a culinary degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 2 years of dietary/dining service experience in a supervisory capacity in a restaurant, hospital, health care/senior living facility.
• Training/education in cost control, food management, and/or diet therapy for the elderly residents.
• Must have a passion for cooking

*Servsafe Level II Certification for managers is required or needs to be obtainable within 30 days of hire.

Pay: $48,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
