Digital Marketing Manager

We are looking for a new Marketing Manager to join our team and help drive our digital marketing efforts.

In this role, you will support the engagement of agents with life and annuity products across the United States and drive marketing strategy and execution for National Life Group’s products in a B2B2C distribution model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guides teams in implementing data-driven and user-centered methodologies to optimize digital experiences across dotcom, mobile and emerging platforms to drive KPIs.

    Guides team in developing best-in-class processes to collect data, client feedback, derive insights and inform business intelligence and product decisions.

  • Engages audiences with the company’s digital platforms through the creation and execution of digital content, social engagement, and technological innovation. Ensures operational alignment by partnering with the Digital Platforms team to leverage technology and deliver agency solutions.
  • Oversees and champions marketing automation activities and platform management, including creation and execution of marketing strategy and online programs.

    Makes recommendations for integration and utilization of associated CRM systems.

  • Drives the social media strategy for the company as a key member of a cross-functional social team, advising on observed results and trends with various platforms to help drive content development and decision making (corporate and field facing workstreams).
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for regulatory requirements and best practices that may affect our digital platforms, tools and activities.

    These may include but are not limited to accessibility and design, state or federal requirements, written policies, technical functionality and communication/e-mail requirements, particularly as they may apply to financial services.

  • Drives multi-channel acquisition strategies, including search, social, paid, retargeting and e-mail marketing.

    Drives the lead management program and process with our distribution partners to manage prospects through various stages of the funnel.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a digital marketing with a focus on a B2B2C environment.

    Knowledge of insurance and financial services a plus.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business technology, computer science, Internet marketing, or related field.
  • Demonstration of critical thinking capabilities, exceptionally analytical and quantitative; an ability to turn data into marketing recommendations
  • Experience building and managing multi-channel acquisition strategies, including but not limited to search, social, paid, retargeting and email marketing
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation and CRM platforms.

    Experience with Sitecore, Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus.

  • Strong business partnering experience across multiple departments; ability to successfully collaborate cross-functionally to achieve company goals.
  • Experience managing and completing cross-team projects; Ability to project manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Naturally curious and driven to find creative solutions that others haven’t considered; Have an A/B testing and optimization mindset
  • Positive energy, a team player who thrives on the thrill of scaling new, innovative solutions, and enjoys being part of a high-energy collaborative team 
  • Analytics oriented with a strong follow through and high sense of urgency.

This role is not open to applicants residing or otherwise based in Colorado and cannot be performed in Colorado
