Digital Category Manager

Your Role:
As part of the Digital Category Management team, you are responsible for driving global e-commerce performance of a key strategic category and set of products.

This starts by understanding and articulating customer needs and behaviors and where and how we differentiate ourselves in the market.

Along with deep performance analytics and identifying the growth drivers of the category, you would then define the online vision for the category and the roadmap of how to achieve this vision through category assortment, merchandising, online pricing/discounting, marketing efforts and campaigns, and other selling strategies to drive topline and bottom line growth.

Your roadmap is comprised of actionable, high value initiatives that you then lead through implementation in collaboration with our eCommerce teams and business partners.
Strong candidates will have demonstrated a track record of growing categories/products, managing complex digital projects involving e-commerce, web content, user experience (UX/UI), digital marketing channels and pricing/discounting optimization to effectively attract, engage and retain customers.

Additionally, the right fit for this position has a passion for customers and their input and is able to balance data-driven decision making with a rapid test and iterate mentality.
The MilliporeSigma eBusiness organization is focused on creating a customer-centric experience and is responsible for driving our multi-billion euro channel which supports >40 million visitors and transacts millions of orders each year.

Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Life Science or similar discipline.
8+ years of eCommerce and Digital Marketing experience
5+ years of experience managing multiple complex projects in a deadline-driven environment
5+ years of experience working in data analytics
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent storytelling development and communication skills
Experience interacting with Senior Management, providing thought-leadership and vision
Experience managing stakeholders and conflicting point of views
