The ideal candidate will maintain high level operational objectives and aligns task value delivery. Gathers and analyzes operational requirements; manages the program and ensures successful service delivery. Ensures contract staff deliver services with agility and quality. Efficiently utilizes work center resources across the program. Manages and optimizes for flow between work centers and CONUS/OCONUS work sites.  Review service performance reports identifying any significant issues and variances, initiating, where necessary, corrective actions and ensuring that all outstanding issues are followed up. Develops new and innovative knowledge management, leadership, and coordination strategies to address significant issues by working with contract staff, Marine Corps Government officials, and mission stakeholders through sharing operational business processes. Knowledge of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) activities for the command, which includes creation of new efforts, complete and accurate documentation, and approval.

• Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, a Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s (or commensurate experience) with 5-8 years’ professional experience including:
  • Providing project/program management support to defense programs
  • Understanding of Marine Corps project execution and methodologies
  • Managing large teams that are geographically separated (to include OCONUS locations)
  • Proven ability of managing customer and mission stakeholder relationships
  • Managing program financials, staffing, and overall program growth
• Must have or be willing to obtain a PMP certification within 6 months of start
