Pave Talent is hiring a full-time Demand Generation Manager for a growing start-up biotech company selling genomics products globally to customers in biologics discovery, vaccine research, genetic engineering, or synthetic biology.

The Demand Generation Manager will be responsible for creating and executing the strategies and tactics to drive customer demand, acquisition, and advocacy.

Success in this role will be measured via key metrics and KPIs for each of; Awareness, Engagement, Retention, Acquisition, and Advocacy.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Biotechnology industry; the developers, manufacturers, academia, and research institutes, the roles, and personas within each, and the mediums, mechanisms, and tools for reaching those roles and personas.

Responsibilities for the Demand Generation Manager Gathers deep insights on the Industry, Market, and Customers and utilizes that knowledge to inform and underpin all strategies, tactics, and metrics Owns and Leads Strategies and Tactics that optimize results for both 1) Brand (Awareness and Value) and 2) Customer Lifecycle (Awareness, Engagement, Retention, Acquisition, and Advocacy) activitiesOwns and Leads optimization of go to market strategy, and performance management to maximize results (“How to Play” and “How to Measure”) Defines optimal deployment channels, methods, and mechanisms to effectively and strategically deploy assets and achieve defined metrics Defines metrics and performance manages all campaigns, iterating where and as necessary Defines and creates personas, knowledge and buyers journeys, and customer lifecycles Partners with Product Marketing to create the Go To Market Strategy and System Partners with Product Marketing to identify and build foundational items (UVPs, positioning and messaging, solutions roadmaps, buyers journeys, personas, etc) Partners with Digital Marketing and Events Management to drive on-time and on-target execution of initiatives Qualifications for the Demand Generation Manager 7 years total Marketing experience of which significant experience (5 years) is in Growth / Marketing Management in the Biotech Industry (preference for biologics discovery, vaccine research, genetic engineering, or synthetic biology) Documented results in developing, deploying, and managing effective strategies, tactics, and initiatives across the various stages of the customer lifecycle Demonstrated knowledge of the Biotech Industry – customers, roles, behaviors, motivations and preferences, and knowledge sources and channels (preference for biologics discovery, vaccine research, genetic engineering, or synthetic biology) Demonstrated utilization of data to underpin strategies, tactics, metrics, performance management, and course corrections / iterations Thrives in a small, rapidly growing company environment Education Requirements for the Demand Generation Manager Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or related field Master’s Degree in Life Sciences or related field preferred Travel Required: 25% (no travel expected during the current COVID-19 public health emergency)
