Delaware North: Retail Assistant Manager, Niagara Falls State Park

The OpportunityDelaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team at Niagara Falls State Park in Niagara Falls, New York.

As an Assistant Retail Manager at Niagara Falls State Park, you will contribute to the growth and profitability of the business with management oversight for the day-to-day operations.Some locations may implement a vaccination requirement in the future if required by federal, state, or local lawResponsibilitiesSupports management in overseeing retail stores, portable locations, warehouse operations, retail sales, and training of retail associates.Manage implementation of retail programs for stores to meet corporate standards and achieve inventory and revenue goals.Participate in product development.Provide instruction on company policies and procedures to supervisors and ensure proper follow-through.Manage in-store merchandising and display to ensure maximum visual impact and revenue generation.Monitor in-stock position of approved merchandise programs and inventory control at store level to ensure procedural and policy compliance.Provide support and direction to retail supervisors on implementation.Adhere to company directives on physical inventory and reporting.Maintain NetSuite POS system.Ensure the proper procedures of weekly Cycle CountsAll other duties as assigned.QualificationsAt least three years’ supervisory experience.Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail operations, policies, and procedures.Ability to train and develop team.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel.Effective communication and organizational skills.1-3 years’ retail operations management experience preferred.Physical RequirementsFrequent standing, bending, lifting, walking.Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.Who We AreDelaware North has been providing food and beverage, as well as retail at Niagara Falls State Park since 1995.
