Our Technical Account Manager position is a terrific opportunity for a talented and knowledgeable professional with experience managing client portfolios and advising them on their technology needs. Your goal is to seek to understand your clients and their business objectives, so you can assist them with best practices and help us offer them technology solutions. Your ability to learn our technology solutions will be critical, so you can best align our offerings and value proposition with our clients’ needs. The position will work out of our Belcamp, MD office with the targeted territory being the Baltimore-Washington area. After an initial training period, we would also offer flexibility with up to 2 remote workdays per week.We offer a competitive compensation package as follows:Total targetcompensation(base pay plus targeted commission) of $120K Base salary $90KUncapped commission based on performance—our program offers the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targetsCompany cell phone and laptop providedCompany benefits offered – 401K match, health, dental, vision, GTL (2x salary) & LTD Responsibilities:Manage portfolio of clients located in the Baltimore-Washington area, including maintaining POC relationships.Perform vCIO services—including ensuring we are meeting our customer success metrics (SLOs) and performing quarterly business reviews (QBR)Actively engage with the clients and our techs to ensure the clients’ needs are meet—including coordination of project and implementation workBuild pipeline of sales opportunities for your client portfolio—including hardware refreshes, software updates/implementations, and cloud and security solutionsPrepare quotes/proposals to present and negotiate with clients to close sales opportunitiesBuild relationships with qualified vendor partners with the goal to improve knowledge of solutions for your clientsKeep up to date on industry-related news and maintain technology selling skills as industry changesUpdate tickets, timesheets, and sales/client management processes within our PSA/ERP and Client Portfolio systemsThe ideal candidate possesses the following skills:Experience selling B2B IT, SaaS, Cloud, and Security solutions in the SMB marketExperience working with PSA/ERP and Client Portfolio systems (AutoTask is a Plus)Strong customer service skills and ability to articulate solutions to clientsTeam player capable of working within a collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyWilling to travel to prospect and client sites as needed
