Job Summary: The Data Management Analyst is based within the Compliance Data office of the Financial Crimes Office Americas (FCOA) Division and reports directly to the Compliance Data Officer for the Americas. This position is required to support Data Management and related initiatives within the Americas, with a specific focus on supporting the Data Quality Monitoring and Incident management processes.

Major Responsibilities:

  • You will support the Data Quality (DQ) Incident and the Data Quality (DQ) Monitoring Leads in the identification of data anomalies as well as performing initial root cause analysis of a data incident as it relates to Transaction Filtering, Transaction Monitoring, and KYC business processes
  • You will support projects from a data management perspective to support execution of FCOA’s data initiatives or regulatory mandates
  • You support the DQ Incident Lead in the management of a data incident as it relates to Transaction Filtering, Transaction Monitoring, and KYC business processes and associated systems
  • You support projects from a data management perspective to support execution of data initiatives or regulatory mandates
  • You work closely with the compliance LOBs, CDO, OTA and our data producers to understand and facilitate triage/resolution/prioritization of DQ controls and issues
  • You keep management updated on DQ implementation progress, issues as they arise and provide input into periodic KPI/KRI reporting

Experience/Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of data analysis experience with good knowledge of financial services and investigating financial crimes compliance alerts
  • Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and courses of action
  • Demonstrated experience in a consultancy or solutions analysis environment with specialization in business analysis
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with the ability to handle several projects at one time
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills Additional skills

  • You have strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of emerging industry practices in problem solving scenarios
