Data Governance Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Data Governance Consultant.

The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design.

You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts.

You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.

Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or be willing to relocate to the area.

we are not able to sponsor at this time7+ years of experience with Information TechnologyPreferred Qualifications: 3 years of Data Governance (DG) experience in a Consulting role3 years of experience and functional capability and familiarity with leading Data Governance tools,Experience in creating Metamodel, business glossaries, data dictionaries, Data catalog etc.Programming skills in Java/Groovy and be able to develop complex workflowsExperience in performing Rest API based integrationsSubject matter expert on Data Governance, data lineage, providing hands-on support to implement Data GovernanceImplement Workflows to enable data management capabilitiesGood experience in end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developmentsStrong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scriptingKnowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycleExperience with Lean / Agile development methodologies4+ years of experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured DataGood understanding of Data integration, Data Quality and data architecturePartner with Data Stewards for requirements, integrations, and processes, participate in meetings and working sessionsPartner with Data Management and integration leads to continuously improve Data Management technologies and processesGood expertise in impact analysis due to changes or issuesExperience in preparing test scripts and test cases to validate data and maintaining data qualityExperience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts.

Knowledge of large data sets and experience with performance tuning and troubleshootingHands-on development, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problemsCI / CD exposureAbility to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environmentAbility to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teamsExperience managing team size of 2-3 would be a plus and capable of creating data governance roadmapExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience and desire to work in a Global delivery environmentThe job may entail extensive travel.
